Said they are looking for a 1st and a 2nd.....
It can be argued that we have enough picks in the early rounds to spare 2.
I know this won't happen. But wow. Can you imagine one of the best QBs of all time paired with one of the best RBs of all time?

RB is a position of strength on this team with arguably the best backfield in the NFL. Why the Frick would we waste resources on another? Especially one that is 30, getting paid QB money, and who's trade price is ridiculous.

I honestly would rather have Ingram, Spiller, pick 31, and pick 44 along with +/- 4 million in cap space than Adrian Peterson any day of the week. Even a 1,600 yd year and 16 Td's year from Peterson might be lower than our current Smash and Dash backfield.

Even if we did that, He'd still be in a running back by committee lol. Ridiculous scenario. You don't sign Ingram and Spiller if you go that route.

If this was after that 2k year, some team would. That's been a while though, so no. They could still get a 2nd for him though I'm sure. You'd still get a good 3 or 4 years from him

3/4 years of AP is def worth a first though. He is one of the only guys where the age limit just does not apply.
Having said that I still wouldn't touch him because of cost and the guys we got. But I'm sure a team like Tampa who could afford it would send a 1st for next year and maybe someone like Doug Martin. Minny could get a first but I'm not sure they can get a kings ransom like they want.

Always ask for a kings ransom though. Some team will try to negotiate
