At this point, I agree with the top six that you guys have mentioned. I've never seen a 5 star like Johnson not play. So the the four WRs that caught passes last year and Chark and Johnson. Not looking good for Avery and Spears. If Dillon passes them, I hope they get to play somewhere, they will always will be Tigers!

I am not sure how they will stack up come September. But I do know I would love to see the ball in Diarse's hands more. His yac potential is so much higher than all the rest of these guys.

Quinn will bounce back. He was open quite a bit last year. He'll fix the drops.

Lol

Dude had two drops in one game.
One less than the 1st team all American on the other team had.

Do his drops against Alabama really matter at this point? He's clearly pretty far down in the WR pecking order.

1. Dural
2. Dupre
3. Chark

4-7. Quinn/Tyron/Diarse
8-9. Avery/Spears

And that's not including Washington and Smith from the TE position.

let's go by catches

1. dural
2. quinn
3. dupre
4. chark
5. johnson

has more to do with our QBs than anything. If Harris gets the nod i could see Dupre switching with Quinn

I'm very interested in seeing what a healthy Washington can do, he's another matchup nightmare. Dude won the skills challenge at his all star game.

1. Dupre
2. Dural
3. Diarse

Dupre is our best WR, I think.

Is Dural our best wideout?

LOL. Not hating at all on the kid, but you haven't seen him catch a pass yet.

Honestly, Dupre is going to be a breakout star this year:

1. Dupre
2. Dural
3. Quinn
4. Chark
5. Diarse

Seems like Quinn is taking a hit from this fan base. Everyone is writing him off

What happened to Avery? I thought he was a high school all American

yep...although they were critical drops.

However, I think Quinn will be in the top 3 in receptions on the team, and possibly lead the team. Not saying he is the best WR....but am saying he will have a lot of catches. I think Dupre is going to break out to be a superstar.

I actually agree with you and there's a reason he's in the return game....he has great hands.

So in what way are they similar? Please explain.

Both attack the ball, very elusive in the open field, very technically sound in footwork and route running and that . Their overall play style is very similar.

I understand where some of you are going with Quinn. He had a knack in HS of being the QB's best friend. He's the kind of guy that is smart and knows how to find space in a defense and make himself an easy target. However, I think he may have to wait another year for his turn. Diarse is bigger, has more experience, and fills a similar role. I think he and the TEs will get a lot of those catches this year.

Dural
Dupre
Chark
Diarse
Johnson

Don't see Quinn cracking the five-wide with his history of crucial drops. Just can't trust him to come through.

The receiving corps is very versatile. There's so many different things that Cameron will be able to do with Dural, Dupre, and Chark with his vertical scheme. Having Smith, Diarse, and Quinn gives the QBs an easy hot read underneath the coverage which will keep the offense on track.

There's going to be a few different passing concepts that we'll use but the two main ones will be a drop back vertical passing attack with combo routes as the hot reads and a roll-out vertical attack with crossing routes as the hot reads.

Hmmm.....one play we still dwell on? When do we ever move on? Dupre drops a ball in the spring game, who cares? Point well taken about a fickle fan base in an earlier reply.

Quinn's hands are so unreliable that our staff puts him on punt and kick returns, has him holding for field goals, maybe they see something in him day in and day out that you do not??????? Is it possible that our staff knows more football than the Rant?
