No reason for that gun to be over $500. Should be 450 or less.

the guy that works at Bowie says they are 479...you think it's priced too high by twenty nine dollars?

Everyone's jacking em up since they're hard to get. 479 should be the standard

For what it is...yes.

I'm not calling Carson and bowies out though, they are the cheapest around. I just think realistically this is not a $500 pistol, more like 450 or less. However, people will overpay and I'll buy one used for 400 or less.

the gun is worth every bit of $550.... if people are willing to pay it. Whatever people will pay, thats its worth. Too much glock hate in here because its the cool thing to do. I have a sig, ruger, smith and wesson, taurus, and yep a glock, even worse... a glock 42 OMG! Guess what? It shoots better than any other small 380 i have shot and is much more comfortable to shoot. It eats any ammo, and goes bang every time. The glock hate gets old.

Guess what pistols I own? I don't remember hating on the pistol, brand, or anything other than the price.

I'll just have the wife pick up a blue label for us to use.

I tend to agree the 43 is a tad overpriced... Would've been nice to see it going for closer to what a shield costs. I quality for blue label so I'll still be able to get a good deal once they are routinely in stock.

the cost from distributors is more than a brand new Shield. that's why they're high right now. costs will go down and prices will drop. 450 just wouldnt be enough of a margin to make it worth a purchase order at this time

I'd actually really like doing a review on one when someone gives me the opportunity even though I'm not a big Glock dude. The main reason is that this and the 42 are finally something different. They joined all the other companies making single stack 9mms finally.

I'd be willing to compare it to a Shield and my personal CM9. But I'm also a realist and think the G43 should be on the market for a while before people jump to say it's the best thing since sliced bread. Every gun usually has teething issues when first hitting the market.

But I do know this - Glock will sell TONS of these things.

The wait list at BRPS is pretty long from what I've heard. Buddy of mine got one on friday... Said it ran fine but is shooting low

Luckily that's a pretty small problem.
