Pretty crazy that D'Angelo Russell hasn't declared yet

Will he stay for a sophomore season at OSU? That would be unbelievable. Virtually every mock draft I've seen has him as a top 5 pick. I've seen as high as No. 2 and I think five is the bottom on the mocks I've looked at.

If he stays, I will really respect him for that.

Wow, figured he was a lock to declare. Maybe he still is, idk.

What's he need to work on? Seems like he does everything really well, and really efficiently too.

I made a thread about this last week and got just a few replies with people giving me the "lol" type answers. I have been hearing serious rumors that he may stay at Ohio State for one more year. I wouldn't, but you just never know where these kids are at in their decision. It would certainly make Ohio State a top 10 team for next year. I still think he goes pro, but i think he is having a harder time deciding then most thought. Good for him for thinking this through.

A decision is supposed to come after this weekend. He said he hasn't talked about it with his family yet because he's been in no hurry. They are planning to discuss it this weekend.

If you're a projected Top 5 pick, you leave. He may even go as high as No. 3.

For Ohio State, it would be great if he stayed. For his sake, it would be idiotic.

Might be a dumb question but does the salary cap possibly being raised next year affect his decision at all?

If you're that talented, you're playing for your first real contract.

No, NBA rookies get pre-made contracts. They just sign and go to practice.

Right but those salaries will increase with the salary cap increase.

I would assume so. Everyone would get a bump.

That's not how it's working with players signed to max deals. The rookie scale is negotiated into the cba years in advance, I don't think that will change this summer.
