Find Your Android Phone (or You) in Seconds

Google just released a feature that lets you to find your Android phone (or you, if you're carrying it) by typing "find my phone" in the address bar of a browser that's logged in to your Google account.

I just tried it and got a map of my location to within 70 feet.

ETA: the image says "accurate to 70 feet" but the center of the blue dot looks accurate to less than 5 feet:


I don't care if a family member uses this trick on our home computer to find me, but I'm betting that divorce lawyers make serious money from this.

Thoughts?

Pretty cool... found my phone and made it ring. I like that it has and option to lock and erase too.

I just reach into my camo fanny pack that I never take off and voila, there it is.

My wife needed this feature this morning, wish I would have known about it then instead of calling her phone over and over till she found it.
