You dont, but its hard to enjoy the discussion in here while you're constantly bashing it and dishing out GOT spoilers for those of us who are not finished reading the books yet.
Sorry for spoiling Loras' gayness for you.

R+L=J is a theory that can be picked up on VERY early in the books and has not been revealed (either as true or false) as of the currently published materials.

Ergo, not a spoiler.

Ergo, Hodor.

It was pretty much confirmed on the show too when Oberyn first met Tyrion.

No offense and not trying to stir shite, but do you and other similar parties notice that you are having a GoT debate in a thread about the Star Wars trailer?

The real question for this movie is........

Will the black stormtrooper have a British accent?

That was Tim Russ in Spaceballs - you know, Tuvoc from Star Trek: Voyager.

Earlier in the clip you hear him mention the initial thought to go CG and then instead they went this way and in that comment he mentioned puppeteers, so there is someone directing his movements, just not by being inside or by stick/rod/cabling.

Yeah he said in during filming there were puppeteers.

Yes, but I am assuming that means the commands are sent either by remote control or by a computer off stage.

She made the distinction on stage that he was operating on his own. It was heavily implied in her tone and wording that he was now operating differently than the movie. Because she mentioned the technology that a certain group of people had created "and now BB8 is operating on his own".

Obviously, she could have meant that they had to use puppeteers in the movie, but now they have computerized commands. I am just stating the picture her words described, which is that BB8 now has some sort of capacity for operating without a controller.

Yes. He has a British a cent in real life and so does daisy ridley

Why would they change? Only reason I would change is if one of them is supposed to be a child of a legacy character

It's those three movies where the lightsaber fighting and force using, by far my favorite part of Star Wars, was 1000 times better than the original trilogy due to advances in movie-making technology.

I'll be that contrarian dickhead that agrees with another contrarian dickhead...

lightsaber fighting

Indisputably better in the prequels as opposed to the originals.

It was also the one showing the Jedi, literally the only part of Star Wars I am interested in, at the height of their power.

Honestly, I really enjoyed seeing Coruscant and the concept of a city planet that has no oceans or forestry whatsoever and how it made me think how the hell do they have a breathable atmosphere much less zero pollution? Where does the water come from? What are their natural resources? I had a lot of questions about Coruscant and I still do.

We will probably never see Coruscant again with the screen time they had in the prequels. Shame really, it was cool to look at.

It may have been technically more advanced, but it looked too clean and cartoon-like. OT looks more real because it is real.

Light saber fighting was more realistic, though. I'll give you that.

Ignoring the dumpster fire this thread has become, I cannot stop watching the trailer. I just hope I'm not let down like I have been thrice before. Actually, maybe only twice. I kind of liked Revenge of the Sith (Don't boo me too much, please), though I didn't love it either.

The lightsaber battles in the prequels are indisputably completely unrealistic soulless, video game inspired and overly choreographed. If that's your thing, well crank up the Nickleback and enjoy.

Technology greatly improved between 1977 and 1997, so? That doesn't make up for crappy, nonsensical scripts. It also doesn't mean just because you can add all kinds of CGI effects into every frame that you should.

some of the stuff in the prequels, like Coruscant, Naboo and some of the other worlds was pretty cool. There have always been questions about Star Wars world, i remember a SW drinking game for the original trilogy and one of the points was drink when they refer to a planet with only 1 climate

I hated the lightsaber battles in the prequels. Too much acrobatic nonsense.
