I've only heard two albums from Moreland. Haven't heard High on Tulsa Heat yet.

Isbell right now IMO, but Moreland is awesome.

Where does John Fullbright fit in this conversation?

He's obviously tops for me but I'm curious as to where y'all think he falls between the three.

Fullbright has more musical talent than either of them and he has more of a songwriting spectrum I think. More depth. I don't know if he's released ha best work yet. He's much younger than the other two.

i have noticed that about JM

I think that is why i am really digging the song "hearts to heavy" because its more on the upbeat side

Then check out JM's everything the hard way, album. A bunch of upbeat tunes on it

Moreland and Fulbright will both be playing our Roots Fest in August. Pumped.

Come on up! It's a good time, and it's a pretty unique festival. Celebration of local food along with the roots music, so there's a ton of great food to go along with it. Festival happens all over town with the big shows being in a concert hall, but official and unofficial shows happening at venues all over town throughout the 4 days of the festival. Shows range from quiet and nearly spiritual (Gregory Alan Isakov) to raucous party (Wood Bros, Hayes Carl).

Full lineup not released yet, but there's a partial lineup.

The Steel Wheels are freaking amazing live as well if you ever get a chance to see them. Their studio albums don't do them justice.
