That team is so talented when healthy. I'm pretty down on Thibs as a coach though. Runs his players into the ground. Good luck convincing him to limit KD's minutes.

Hopefully they don't fire him. I like not being worried about the Thunder knowing that they always have that shite stain coach to hold them back

Thibs is a defensive genius, but at the end of the day he is an assistant coach. Probably the best one in the league, but that's what he is. He lacks some of the skills required to be a great head coach.
Jeff Van Gundy said on a broadcast once that he absolutely knew Thibs was the best coach on his staff in Houston (including himself). He really is that smart. And the guy lives and breathes basketball. He has no family. But give me the great people person without an ego who can hire great assistants.

Great point. People love to say it's a players league but coaching has a helluva lot to do with how well teams play, especially in the playoffs when schemes and matchups really matter.

I think Brooks is a bad coach, but it's not impossible for him to win a championship. I really don't think Doc Rivers is much better. Very similar coaches.

Exactly what I think is going on. Funny how the tidbit about Monty and Demps losing their jobs if they didn't make the playoffs comes out minutes after the game ends. On a side note, is what Brooks did this season not impressive? KD played less than 30 games and Ibaka missed around 20. Granted it took a herculean effort from Westbrook and there certainly is talent on the roster but it seems like he should get another year at least.

So like just about every other team in the league?
I know teams run some offenses here and there, but the majority of it is ball screens (and off-ball screens for the catch and shoot jumpshooters).
