A buddy of mine has been talking non stop about this Primerica company to just about everyone he knows. Supposedly he's becoming some financial analyst that works just off commissions. He swears he will make six figures in no time. His Facebook is nothing but primerica promotions and he just started this about a month ago. The company seems fishy from the things I've read online but I wanted to ask if anyone has had first hand experience with them. I'm sure it's been discussed here before but I can't find it. Opinions?

I have relatives who are into Primerica, its all they talk about when visiting. It's gotten so bad when I find they're are coming "visit" give us another sales pitch I make sure I'm busy at work. They very pushy almost like it's an insult not to get on board. It's almost cultish

Man this dude is mad at his friends because they all are very skeptical and won't join. He wonders why most ppl on his FB don't talk to him much and this company that he is pushing is the very reason. He makes these big posts about being done with his friends for not supporting him and says his regional manager tells him to cut his friends off. Mind you he has not made a penny yet because he's studying for his state license or something like that and he's been laid off for the past month from his real job.

Primerica is expensive because they push load funds with high expenses.

Some of the materials they distribute are ok, but the high cost of their program is not going to lead to higher returns.

I've always assumed so, and no one's proven to me otherwise. Seems to be the same people that get involved in Limu, Plexus, etc.

OP, STAY AWAY from those scammers.!!! They are a brainwashing, kook-aid serving corporation. My friend was in love with it. Went to every single open meeting, from 7:00 am to 8:00 am to learn and pitch this stuff, after months without a paycheck, when he finally got it, let's just say the $1000s he was expecting, came to be a few hundred. Finally reality set in, he left soon after, as do most people that can't wait years for investments to pay off. Mr. Bill there is super nice. Drew Alleman and some ex-lsu basketball player works there, but they recruit people to work for them while they pull in the money

That's what I was afraid of. My poor buddy is going to lose everything he owns before he makes a dime. He hasn't even taken his license test . I read that an average analyst there makes 5k a year.
