Timmy had 6 points and 3 boards when asik was guarding him

Asik took Duncan out of the game. Parker made some great plays, but holiday's defense was solid in forcing a few turnovers and making him take low percentage shots. They just went in at a high clip, but you can't get much better defense from any of our guards.

The Spurs are just an efficient scoring team when it comes to midrange and at the rim. They abuse a lot of people. That said, Holiday still looked a step slow to me. Not hating on the dude.. The 3 at the end of Q1 was huge and were the FTs at the end. I still think Norris was the most important player off the bench tonight
As for Asik, you could tell he was focused. He was all over Duncan. On one possession early in the game, Duncan got the ball in the post and tried to lean on Asik and Asik didn't budge, and Duncan had that oh shite look on his face like it may be a long night.

Jrue was big in the first and fourth
Cole was big in the second
Both performed exceptionally and were main components in our W

Idk man I like starting 5 of: Evans, EG, QPon, AD, and Asik
those guys create mismatches with the first unit of Golden State
Bring in the 2nd unit of Cole, Holiday, Cunningham, Ryno, and a little Ajinca
The 2nd unit gives you someone that can really create for Ryno and Ajinca with 2 if not 3 above average defenders
My take home is that Jrue and Reke should not be on the floor at the same time...why? Bc they are the best creators on offense. Evans doesn't need to do much with EG and AD on the floor. Jrue is the best at running the offense so putting him with the 2nd unit can cover some of those guys weaknesses

He needs to start games against Curry. Let Reke come off the bench early if Jrue is on a minute restriction.
