He dominates the opponents 2nd unit. He was the reason we jumped out early and anytime they were on a run Jrue came in and shut it down. Props to Jrue

Jrue off the bench has been frickin awesome. He also takes the tough assignment on D in the 2nd half.

Wat

Do you even Norris Cole, bro? HE was the reason we jumped out early and protected a big lead.

Jrue is looking a little pudgy, he still needs a few more games to get in to playing shape. He can still be effective vs 2nd unit but he's not where we need him to be physically.

Cole didn't come in until the 2nd and that's when he destroyed

Holiday came in around the 5 minute mark when it was 16-14 us I think

The biggest difference in having this team fully healthy is being able to have a fully rested Cole or Holiday the entire game. They both bring a ton of intensity on both sides of the ball and a lot of teams can't matchup well with it. This also allows other things to open up for us that you didn't see as much most of the season. A lot of the reason the Spurs turned the ball over so much tonight.

I love Cole. But, dude, Holiday has exceeded (by far) expectations in coming back. 4

Did we watch the same game?

Parker WORKED holiday. Bad.

holiday is not in game shape and it showed, to me at least. Kudos for coming back but we are in trouble come Saturday with no one to check curry

Certainly didn't look like that court side. And everyone I talked to at the game was talking about his D.

I like Holliday off the bench, but that might not work against GS. I think that's what we're gonna have to roll with though and honestly I'm bout

If Jrue is ready for 30+ minutes Saturday. .. I want our lineup to be;

1) Jrue
2) Gordon
3) Pondexter
4) AD
5) Asik

1) Cole
2) Evans
3) Cunningham
4) Anderson
5) Ajinca/ AD

My gut feeling: I feel a serious Bogut injury coming soon

I thought he forced Parker into mid range shots, which isn't a bad strategy imo.

Cole and Holiday were my favorite part of the game. Whenever the Spurs would attempt to rally or make it close, these two would amp it up a level.

parker school him on b2b possessions before they put tyreke on him, who then got torched another 3-4 possessions by Parker

Holiday was more mobile than I expected though. He was moving pretty well when he had the ball. But I think the fact that they let reke run the PG whole holiday was in and that holiday couldn't keep up w Parker (he usually plays him tough) tell me he probably isn't ready for a curry assignment. Which may not be too and seeing we just beat them without Holiday.

The main reason Parker was having a field day was because Asik inexplicably was refusing to put his hands up. Parker would just drive towards him and Asik would face him, crouch down with his back to the basket and...box out his man? He was essentially clearing out and setting picks for Parker.

The defensive strategy was genius. Don't double, give up "advantageous" two's but nothing easy. That's what we did. Holiday and cole were great at that. Let Parker try and win the game with only floaters and long 2's, And it worked. He couldn't.

SA wins with open threes. Holiday helped take those away

The second asik commits to help D those scenarios Parker dishes it to Duncan for an easy 2. It's Parker vs his man and Asik and Duncan at that point.

That's been Parker and the Spurs bread and butter for years. Dude can get to the goal at will and he's either gonna finish at like a 70% clip or Duncan is getting the ball for a dunk. They exploit the frick out of double teams and help D

Asik deserves credit for the job him did on Duncan, if you ask me
