Which playoff matchups are you pulling for in the 1st round of the Western Conference?

For me it's:
1 GS - 8 New Orleans - GS would just destroy OKC and I think this could be somewhat competitive. Plus it gives us the chance to see the Brow in the playoffs. Kerr-Monty mismatch should be hilarious.
2 San Antonio - 7 Dallas - Two of the best coaches in the game, great rivalry, repeat of last year's great series. The only team I think Dallas has any chance to beat is Houston, but from a pure entertainment standpoint this series should be more exciting.
3 LAC - 6 Memphis - One of my favorite match-ups in the NBA. Z Bo vs. Blake. These two teams absolutely hate each other and have had great games over the last couple years. Hopefully Memphis wakes up for this one.
4 Portland - 5 Houston - Another repeat series from last year that should be competitive once again. Harden has the potential to go off in this series, and it's definitely Portland's best match up because they can hide Damian Lillard's defensive woes.
I really can't freaking wait for the Playoffs to start.

Not sure of all the permutations at this point. I tend to want teams I like to avoid each other, but my rooting interests are passive.
But wouldn't the Pels getting the 8 seed almost certainly shift the Spurs out of the 2? Unless OKC lost or hou/lac both lost too.

Rooting for this one hard, since my brother works in the DFW area and will probably get me and wifey tix.

Agree with everything you posted. Though I would prefer the Spurs end up in the other side of the bracket if the Grizz get locked in to 6th
And on the Grizz, they did wake up from their slump. Issue is they got hurt at the worst possible time. Tony Allen hurt is hamstring, Conley his foot, Gasol an ankle, and Zbo&Jeff Green are dealing with back problems.

Pretty much agree, but Portland Houston won't be that great. Portland hasn't been very good
I'd love LAC-Memphis. Those teams hate each other and its always exciting.
And obviously I want the Pels in. Its been too long since we've been in the playoffs. And frick Russell Westbrook

I mean, I want the Mavs to end up playing the for sure, because that is our best chance to win even though Harden might avg. 45 a game. Grizz-Clips is just always awesome and I hope both teams can be fully healthy if that happens. If the Spurs end up as the 5 seed that second round match up would be absolutely incredible, but that doesn't look very likely.

I'm really hoping the Grizz get in to the 4-5 game because they are 7-1 against the Blazers the last 2 seasons. Having the Spurs end up 2nd or 3rd would just be perfect as well.
A possible 2nd round matchup with the Warriors is frightening, but I'd rather take my chances against them then the Spurs.
