Really, I don't think anyone is beating that team fully healthy in a series, even if Golden State had home court advantage.

The field just cause they won't have home court. Spurs have a great shot though

I'd take the Spurs. Golden State is definitely a threat. They just take a lot of jumpshots which could be a problem in a 7 game series when teams start really D'ing up.

I got to see someone actually kill the Spurs before I'll say they're dead.

If the payout is equal, betting the Spurs would be a poor gambling decision. Even if they had a 75% chance of winning each of the 3 series, their odds of making it out would only be 42%.

the old chiche is dead. The Spurs are a jumpshooting team as well. So were the Heat.

The Warriors have been top 2 in offense and defense all year.

I take the field.

Field. No way would I bet on the Spurs -110 to be the Western Conference Champs. Those are terrible odds.

I hear what you're saying, but LeBron and Wade weren't settling for jumpers when they needed buckets though.

Field. Too many good teams in the West. Spurs may be the favorite but there not that much of a favorite

The field for sure. The Spurs are beatable. These last two years have made them feel invincible, but I would take this gauntlet against any specific team.

I'm going to take the field, and I think Golden State is going to win it all. The Spurs are going to be forced to put Kawahi on Curry for long stretches, and I think Andre Iguodala still has enough in the tank to be a difference maker in that series.

Spurs and heat of the last couple of years definitely weren't jump shooting teams. They did shoot a lot of 3's but they also both score a ton in the paint.

But anyways..

To answer the OP. I take the field. I'm thinking we have some new blood from the west this year.

betting 1 favorite vs 7 is terrible odds regardless of the team. there is no value and way too much risk

I'll remain consistent on this one as I have all year:

Gimme the field.

As nasty as the West has been the past 5-6 years, I simply do not believe a team will win it three years in a row. In order for my Spurs to do it, they're gonna have to show me something special like last year.

I hope I'm wrong, of course, but gimme the field.

ill take the field

Im trying to think of teams in the west that arent capable of beating them. Whoever the 8th seed is, and then prob Houston

remember Dallas almost beat them last year in the 1st round

He's not wrong. With all the injuries they have had, teams are going to be able to focus almost solely on the Beard. I'd run entire offensive sets to go after the man he's guarding, and I'd press him every single time he dribbled the ball up the floor. Tire his arse out.
