Yea, well hell, I agree. That old barn has way more charisma and was awesome. All those older barns had much more charisma. Its the era of club seating and luxury boxes needed to pay the bills that has taken some of the charm away for sure.

Man the NVMC is gonna be rocking tomorrow. People were tailgating at 7am for game 3 they will be there and more rowdier for gave 4.
It will be huge for the isles to be up 3-1. I hope they can do it but I have my doubts.
And as an OT aside, LOL at those Caps fans bitching about being taunted by drunk isles fans. I am willing to bet that goes on at every arena in the NHL in the playoffs when you wear the opposing teams colors, but I guess those fans dont have a blog to cry on. Heck remember chants of "Crosby takes it up the arse do dah do dah, Crosby takes it up the arse all the do da day" when they were playing Pitt in 2013. Some folks are just delicate flowers with thin skin I guess.

Yeah, but that game was at noon. Don't try to pretend the Islanders fans are badasses. And those people have jobs.
As for the Caps, will be interesting to see if they are truly cursed by Trotz or if they can pull something off.

I'm still laughing at that Caps fan crying about his experience in the cheap seats. Hmmm, your going to a playoff game in the cheap seats full of the drunkest fans there wearing Caps gear. What the hell did he expect to happen? Im sure the Pens fans wearing Crosby gear got an earful at MSG, as do B's fans in MTL and vise versa.
