I thought this episode was kinda lame, but I also think it has us looking all over the place. I trust Weiner to start narrowing in from here on out. Although the last time, I trusted a show to get narrow, it was LOST, and frick that.

Yeah that would be so lame. But I actually think it's just some jealousy she has because she likes Stan

That's what I'm hoping it is.

And I'm over this waitress already. I get that Don likes to deal with women that are damaged that he thinks he can fix and when he can't he's fricked. But this is a bit much.

I hate that they split the season. It's just awful for Weiner's writing because he has that slow burn style. And it's like "frick we only have 4 episodes left?".

I'm as big of a Mad Men fan as any, and I have to say these first two episodes were complete shite. I could barely pay attention to this one. It's incredible what a drag Megan has been to the show. Her family scenes were probably some of the least interesting Mad Men filler since Fat Betty's eating struggle.

The one thing I will say is that Vincent Kartheiser (Pete) seemed a bit insincere about liking how they wrapped it up in his interviews. I blew it off because the rest of the cast seemed thrilled. But maybe, they are just better liars.

Yeah, this broad is broken beyond repair.

I hope to God that Weiner doesn't pull the rug out from under us by going all quirky and having Draper end up with Meredith. I think I'd cut my wrists.

I've noticed Weiner taking some shots at AMC for forcing his hand on the split, especially in the later episodes. Especially now that they don't have him by the dick.

Yeah. I've said it before, but him jumping ahead wouldn't have made sense without a split, so it really seems like he changed the ending once they split the season.

Meagan is the absolute worst.

It's hard to imagine she could be more insufferable than Betty but it's happened.

I've really enjoyed these last 2 episodes, it seems like every scene with Roger included is comedy. I watched this episode right after watching GOT, made me realize how great Mad Men is.

Don's empty apartment at the end.

While somewhat entertaining, the last two episodes have really gotten away from the things that make the show great. In my opinion, the final episodes of any show are best when they remind us why we loved the show for years. Still time for that, but they need to hurry.

I'd ride Meredith to four kids and a picket fence. You know that pussy probably sweet as honey and soft like buttermilk biscuits.

I'm as big of a Mad Men fan as any, but the last two episodes have been a major disappointment. We are two episodes in and have literally zero story direction or arcs yet. The waitress storyline has been a total disaster. We have so little time and why are we supposed to care about this? There are six episodes left and just spent an entire one on a random waitress and Megan's family. Where the frick is Sally? Did the first half of this season even happen because I feel like we are back in Season 6. All of the growth Don appeared to have is nonexistant.

I hate to get all chicken little, but I am officially worried that Weiner might be in the process of shitting the bed hard. I want to blame it on the split, but that's a terrible excuse. The first half of this season was so good, but I'm not sure what's happening now.

Yep. But they really stretched how angry Meagan was with Don. He ruined her life in 3 years by giving her lots of money and opportunities? And then his pussy arse drops a mil on her

These first 2 episodes had some great lines but have been a little on the weak side.

Completely agree. It just seems crazy to devote so much time to this new waitress character, Megan's family and Stan. I love Stan but I don't give a shite about his home life, not at this point in the series. My fear is this Stan storyline is the jumping point for a "will they/won't they" plot line with Peggy. I feel like that would be a tremendous waste of Peggy's character.
