Sarah Koenig's hit "Serial" podcast came to a close in December, leaving some listeners dissatisfied, and many with unanswered questions. But the investigation into Adnan Syed's story is far from over.

A second podcast, “Undisclosed: The State v. Adnan Syed,” will dive even deeper into the case from "an investigatory perspective instead of a narrative one," according to the official website. Koenig's original true-crime podcast, which quickly ensnared listeners from around the world, investigated the 1999 murder of Baltimore teenager Hae Min Lee and investigated Lee's ex-boyfriend Syed's conviction of first-degree murder.

"Undisclosed" is sponsored by the Adnan Syed Legal Trust, a group behind the defense of Syed that has raised $93,000 via the crowdfunding website Launch Good, as well as attorneys Rabia Chaudry, Susan Simpson and Colin Miller. Koenig, however, has no involvement in "Undisclosed."

Granted the opportunity in February, Syed presented his appeal to the Maryland court in March. The new podcast will debut episodes every two weeks, beginning April 13. The second season of "Serial" will focus on a different case.

To each his own. I thought it was pretty interesting. But then again, I had been familiar with the "This American Life" format for some time.

This one is produced by his family = won't listen. Unless he finally answers why his phone was making and receiving calls far away from school when he says he was at track practice

By the way - he be guilty.

You mean phone calls that were almost exclusively to and from Jay's acquaintances on a day that Jay admits having the phone most of the day. Hmmmmm I wonder who had the phone?

Yep, he also never took a lie detector test. Which made no sense if he was so adamant he was not guilty.

Wow. This is all anyone needs to know. The family was also heavily involved in pushing the agenda in the first one.

It makes perfect sense if you know anything about lie detectors. They are not very accurate at all. It's pretty much junk science.

Because those things are about as scientifically accurate as a hoodoo device. I'm not a defense attorney, but if I were, I would generally advise clients to stay away from those things.

What was Jays motive? She keeps saying Adnan's motive was not proven and implying Jay did it, but never giving a motive for Jay.

Who knows? I don't think anybody had much of a motive. Beside, determining a motive is inherently reductionistic and often too easily impacted by cognitive biases. It's often a red-herring.
