Need a new set of irons.

Intermediate player.

Play 3-6 times a month.

Looking for something that is good quality, but not too expensive.

Wanting to keep it under $500 for irons.

Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance for all responses. Appreciated.

Just bought a set of TM SLDR stiff irons for $450. Marked down from $800 on golfsmith. I like them. Get the stiff shafts if your swing speed is ~ 100. If less, go with regular flex.

I went with Callaway RAZR X HL Irons. I have 3-5 Hybrids 6-9 irons and Cleveland Pitch, Gap, and Sand wedges

Decent set IMHO

Edwin Watts has them (4-PW) for $499. Good solid irons.

Go to your golf store/outlet and see if they can order the Ping i20's. The pro there can fit you for the proper "color". May be above your initial price range but definitely a set you can easily continue to use as you improve.

Last year I picked up some Ping G20s. I really like them, and now you can likely get the 25s in that price range.

Go get fit.

A few hundred dollars is no big deal.
You may not buy another set for 10 years.
