Looking for good beer pub in Houston (uptown)

Beer bars in Houston
Hay Merchant, Wooster's Garden, Mongoose VS Cobra, Liberty Station, Petrol Station, Cottonwood, D&T Drive Inn, Moontower Inn.....should last you a week.

Uptown=Galleria apparently
-Petrol has a great beer selection and probably the best burgers in Houston.....However, by far the most pretentious servers and you will wait at least 45 minutes to get food guaranteed.

Not a beer pub, but for a quick lunch and beer hit up Central Market just across 610 on Westheimer. Grab a sandwich and a beer then sit outside and people watch.

Ive heard good things about Big Red Cock - Gastropub, but have never been. You are fairly close to there.

BRC is pretty good, but overpriced. Woodrows right across the street will have a better tap selection, but food is just typical bar food.

BRC is great, but damn it's expensive. Great brunch spot if you're willing the shell it out.
