LOL WUT?

Sending him was the absolute right call. Stevie has like no arm and if that play happens 100 times, 85 times he scores.

Plus, there was only 1 out and another runner moved up to 2nd. If he doesn't score, you still have another shot.

Yea sending him was definitely the right thing to do. Stevenson barely got him as it was.

Will Davis would put up the stop sign.

Are you saying the Will Davis is a bad 3B coach?

The runner could have advanced to 2nd anyway because no matter what Stevenson was coming to the plate. The call to send him wouldnt have been questionable if it was close, but stevenson nailed him with "no arm" as you said thus making it a obvious bad call. You dont send him you have bases loaded 1 out. Any mediocre center fielder can make that shallow of a throw. Forgot someone was already on 1st

It was not close at all, he was gunned down hard with time to spare.

If "not close" is Scivicque tagging him on the back, then you need to get your eyes checked.

He's not horrible, but he does make me scratch my head sometimes.

ETA: More often holding guys than sending them.

Being tagged outside of the batters box is not close imo. If the throw was to the plate it would have looked more obvious

I don't think it's a no brainer to send the guy home there. The guy from first would have moved up to second on the throw so it would have been second and third with only one out. A fly ball to any outfielder likely wins the game for them.

The next batter did not hit a fly ball
Though.. You can't really assume anything.

We had a guy on 3rd earlier In the game with 1 out and failed to make a productive out. A guy we had held up.. I think he would have scored even though it was Chinea running.. Had he scored the game woukd not have went to extras.. But we played it safe. Understandably but nothing to show.

People are insane if they don't think sending him was the right call. Especially for the home team with last at bat. It took not only a perfect throw, but a perfect catch and tag just to get him. Had the runner not held up or took such a bad turn rounding third, it's not even close. LSU's outfield is not known for assists so they decision makes even more sense.
