NOLA OTers: I need some cross-town travel tips

I have to sit for a test in a couple of weeks and just want to make sure I don't end up lost in gangsterville on the way there. What is the quickest route from the lower Garden District to the UNO campus on a Saturday morning? TIA.

I 10 get off at west end. Go to robert e lee hang a right. Run into uno.

I-10 > 610 > get off of Elysion Field and go left. Toward the lake.
Or take Claibourn to Elysian Field turn left all the way toward the lake.

Hop on the interstate at St Charles and merge right on I10 heading towards Slidell. Get off at Elysian Fields and go north until you run into UNO.

Tchoup to I-10(by way of Pontchartrain Expressway) , I-10 east to Elysian fields, EF to UNO.
