The video is about 15 minutes but this is hands down the best scout I have ever seen on technique.

Youtube

After seeing the video and considering the drug issues do you think he would be a direction the saints would go since it is no secret that we need play makers.

Question is if after removing the locker room problems do we want to spend a first on someone who is bringing a little baggage. With the current trend I would say no, but I don't know the exact details of his failed test.

I doubt he makes it close to our pick. The recent news won't drop him much, if at all

Mel Kiper this morning on Mike and Mike says he was sliding before the drugs charges. Some injury risks and other things were already being said. This drug thing is making him drop further he said he will mid to late first rounder. But he said he likes the Saints at 13 taking him.

Just passing it on because this mock may not be to far off

Just say No.The 13th pick needs to be as close as you can get to a sure thing now if by some odd chance he would be there at 31st then worth a Risk.If some reports i read on him are mostly true he could be there at 31st pick.

I don't want Beasley and not high on Dupree.

If we go pass rush then I want to move for Fowler (very expensive most likely) or get Gregory. If we can have him at 13 I won't complain.

There is no way you let a talent go like that. Especially when we have sucked at 27-32 picks historically. Plus Perriman (wr), Strong, Parker will be gone.

I don't know outside of Collins and Scherff who are some top gaurds.

But I think LB will still be there at 31. I personally like Kendricks from UCLA or Perryman from Miami.

NO way Randy falls past 21. I am not sure 13 will cost you but it cant be that bad if he doesn't work out. But talent wise he has it. Could have went top 3.

You do if you worry about his commitment to the game. We aren't very good in the early part of the draft either

No one worth taking at 13.

ILB will be there at 31. If you can't get a monster pass rusher, and the 2 elite WR's are gone, you try to nab one of the two guards. If they are gone you go BPA that's not QB, RB, CB. This pick could be the difference between playoffs and another pick in the teens. Need to hit on it.

I wouldn't mind a Gregory/McKinney or Perryman combo in the first and take a WR in the 2nd or 3rd.

Is it just me or is that video not very impressive. The first 3.5 minutes it's a guy basically explaining all the reasons why this kid didn't make plays.

Welcome to the world of football analysis. No player does everything right 100% of the time, and not very often on 100% of a play (especially at the college level). If picking a player was that easy then we'd all be NFL scouts making minimum wage. Sometimes the other guy(s) do everything right and correctly account for you (as a player). I saw a lot of strong play, and many instances where the other team simply executed. I also saw a lot of instances where the blockers had to double up or do a last minute grab (hold) to account for him. He looks to have a lot of positive things going for him as a player. To me this is a very good video, and the author is right about a lot of observations.

Thanks for introducing me to this scout. He seems to know his shite.

His Jameis Winston video makes me very uneasy considering this scout shows how Winston will make the Bucs an immediate playoff team.

Loooking forward to his Brandon Scherff video. In the Dupree video, at the end, he teases which video he would think about doing next: Randy Gregory or Brandon Scherff. He said one of them is overrated and the other is underrated. Well, we now know Gregory was his underrated choice, so I'm curious about what holes he finds in Scherff's game since he is a routinely slotted Saints choice in a lot of mocks.

Love his motor.
Hate his lack of maturity.

I think the only way Scherff is overrated is if it's assumed he's going to play tackle
