tells me either two things LF wins the Heisman or the rest of the offense is not progressing well. Particularly the QB play

I think you are reading too much into that. LF is just super elite

If Dural/Chark can each put up 700 yards and 5-6 TDs... Fournette gets 20 carries a game, and we get some production out of other RBs and WRs, people will forget about 2012-14.

ALOT of IFS here.... BTW we need a Quality QB to get the WRs the ball enough for Clark/Dural to be that effective. And I am not talking about cupcake games.......

Can't wait to watch him this season. It's why i think he'll be the top back this year regardless of his stat line. Fournette relied on pure athleticism for most of last year, had shitty QB play, half a season of OL adjusting, and even still broke the LSU freshman rushing record.

Vision, patience, blitz pickup, recognizing what other player's objectives are, how the defense is attacking you, running routes, just so much stuff that he can get better at. I expect Jeremy Hill level of improvement from Fournette.

Whats really funny is that some fans think he didnt live up to the hype.
Adrian Peterson Freshman YPC -5.7

Leonard Fournette Freshman YPC -5.5

If LF would've gotten as many carries as Adrian Peterson he would've gotten 1,864 yards

Fournette is the least of my worries unless he is injured.

knock on wood, but even if he is, the RB position is super deep.... Williams, who's a beast on his own merit, is poised to bust out of Fournette's shadow a bit, and behind him is Guice and Brossette, two guys that could start at many of the Power 5 schools right now....

now if Jennings goes down, we fricked....

Les needs to take him to media days to get the Heisman campaign rolling.

No. You don't need the media preseason hype you used to in order to win a heisman nowadays. Most winners of the last 5+ years have seemingly come out of nowhere.

Do you take him though? I don't see LSU leaving home one of the top 5 players in the country.

LF will probably be a top 5 player in cfb at some point, but as of now he isnt close. A great player? Yes.
Top 5? Not even close.

Have an upvote, Jax. For him to get 1500 yards he would have to average 6.2 yards per carry at 20 carries a game. I think if he gets his touches he'd come very close if not surpass that. No reason he shouldn't carry it 20+ times in EVERY game.
