well, you said stats don't matter.

When they reflect who he is as a player.

Stats always matter.

No doubt. But there are a few that I trust more than others.

So is Ben Roethlisberger and Peyton Manning
weren't both of them in pretty good shape coming out of college? With the genetics Winston has, he must be lazy as frick.

He might be good though.

If you mean like Can Newton superstar I'll give you that possibility. However just like Cam he will never win a super bowl.

I wouldn't hold last year against him. He only came back because he couldn't go pro yet.
And lol at judging a qb by their physique. Brady looked like a pencil neck geek when he was drafted.

Why are qbs often flabby and misshapened?

Probably will be successful short term until the good will wears off and the real comes out. I look for two good years followed by two so so, melt down and out of league by end of first contract.

It is a crapshoot. But I wouldn't be so quick to right Jameis off.

Wouldn't say he's gonna be a super star. But yea he's gonna be a good NFL QB.

yeah that sounds about right.

could be a tough start for him too because Tampa Bay's O-line was shaky last year. Don't know if they did anything about that in free agency though.

they've been quiet and so has ATL.

he'll have good WR's to throw to if he goes to the Bucs. I don't know how if they'll be able to lean on their run game though. For the most part their run game was weak sauce last year so again... I wonder what changes they'll make if any.

Ain't gonna need a run game with Winston to Evans.

I don't know, maybe. I mean he threw a lot of interceptions against bad defenses. The NFL DB's will eat him alive if doesn't improve a lot.

Only against Florida and Louisville, who both had great defenses.

Ok so lets ignore the off the field issues for right now. He's going to go to a shitty team in 2015. By Christmas:
2015: the haters will be out en force announcing he will be a bust, meanwhile the Jamieus fanboys will proclaim "but he's on the Bucs/Jets/Falcons".
Christmas 2016: he might be okay, but chances are he will not have stellar numbers. Fanboys will stop defending him.
2017: will be the first year to see what he's really got.

For a college football fan, no. For a college football quarterback, absolutely.
