Any owners of these two trucks here that could shed some insight on pros and cons of the trucks.

I'm trying to compare the 2 before making a decision. I have done plenty research just asking from people that have experience with these vehicles.

I own a Colorado Crew Cab Z71. Drives very smooth and quiet. Gas is good on highway. I've gotten 26 mpg even though it was advertised at 24. But my city mpg is worse than advertised (15 mpg compared to 17 mpg). I don't know much about the Frontier, but I drove the Tacoma and the Colorado blew it out of the water.

I'd go with the GMC Canyon. Colorado is a nice truck but I think the Canyon looks better.

Colorado is a significantly better looking truck than a Canyon.

The body lines are not even comparable.

JMHO.

I'm on my second Frontier. I put 200k+ on my last one and only had to change a water pump. This one is at 80k and I've only had to fix the TPM sensors. It's a V6 and has good power. The ride is rough and has mileage isn't great in the city (17 mpg). Also, it doesn't corner very well. But it's reliable and durable.

The new Colorado is very nice looking, but that is all I know about them.

What's the price difference between the Colorado and a full size truck?

Is that plastic trim around the wheel wells? That looks like shite. Do yourself a favor and buy a Tacoma.

Not sure. I didn't want full size. But the Z71's are around 35-36k.

There is no plastic that comes on the wheel wells. You can get it as an add on, if that's your style.

Doesn't the Tacoma have a plastic bed??

Not that there's anything wrong with it, unless you've got something against plastic like he apparently did

Nissans have way too many mechanical issues.

People will say "mine didn't" to them, they are the lucky ones.

Tacoma vs Colorado should be what you are looking at.

While Tacoma will maintain it's value more. The Colorado right now is the better truck .
