Yeah, I like a quiet ride. I guess I need to look at Buick.

Buick has placed in the top two or three spots for years. Not many people give it credit for being better rated then Honda, Toyota and Nissan but they always rank higher in this survey.

My parents have a LaCrosse that's 4 or 5 years old. It feels like a bank vault on wheels. I know it has exemplary safety and reliability ratings. It's much quieter, smoother, and more poweful than the Japanese cars my wife and I drive.

Consumer Reports best of 2015. More good press for the Buick. Regal wins top sport sedan for 2015.

No. It. Doesn't.

You need new U-Joints your mechanic is just going at you with no Vaseline.

I did my own in my Tacoma for $50

Makes me a bit skeptical about the new Jeep Grand Cherokee...

Yeah. I told him don't touch it and I'm just going to pick it up and take it to my brother. He's a mechanic and worked for Toyota for several years.

The Ram brand is ranked significantly higher than Ford. Not quite as high as Chevrolet, GMC, or Toyota though.

It looks like Ram is the only Chrysler brand that scored above average.

My current Tacoma is by far the most dependable car I have ever had.
I'm a shadetree mechanic who has a truck that never breaks down, it actually drives me nuts. lol

I had a Ram in the 90's. Was still getting flooded with recall notices 4 and 5 years into its life. And then there was the transmission...

Trade it in for a Ford, Dodge, or Fiat.

JD POWER has so many categories- you can be last in one and first in another.

Yea this is interesting. I have a 2013 Grand Cherokee with 60,000 miles on it and haven't had a single issue yet. I had a 2004 Yukon before that had all sorts of issues once it hit about 120,000 miles. Wife needs a new car. I am looking at either getting myself a sedan and giving her the Jeep or getting her a new SUV. Was looking at either the GC, 4 runner, possibly a Honda Pilot or the new Hyundai Genesis. I would've thought Hyundai would have a much better ranking. They offer the best warranty out there and have great ratings. Maybe I need to look at the Buicks.

The biggest pile I have ever owned was a range rover. Best car I ever owned was a Volvo. My daily driver is a Volvo xc90 with 93k miles and it's had zero problems. The wife drives a VW that she abuses and it's never had a single hiccup.

Not sure how they come up with these lists now that so many cars share a chassis and power. My XC90 shares the 3.2 and chassis with the land rover LR3 and one of the ford suvs.

Enthusiast cars like volvo and porshe typically do well in these lists because the owners care for them and do a lot of of their own maintenance. I don't think my 964 has seen the inside of a dealership since the day it rolled off the lot.

I've had good luck with jeep and ford.

Only truck I've seen that comes close to comfort of my f250 is the new 2500 dura max high country

I love my new Enclave. The ride is ridiculously smooth and the feel of the vehicle is all class. Glad to see Buick is so high on the list. The reactions I got when I told people I bought a buick were pretty funny though
