Did they tell the musical chairs story? That's one of my favorites.

I didn't watch it last night, will have to watch it on hbogo tonight.

David Miscavige seems like the sort of guy who would have made a great Nazi. I mean, the uniforms, the stages, the creepy looks. He really missed his calling not to be alive in Berlin in the early 1930s.

I thought the thing was great. Tom Cruise came across as being a gigantic dick.

I haven't seen it yet. I'm very familiar with Scientology, but I'm curious to see if they focus on the IRS or if it's celebrity gossip. If you're talking to someone who doesn't know anything about them and trying to explain why they're dangerous, you shouldn't even mention celebrity bullshite

Miscavage is so well suited to lead the church because he knows it's a scam. He's not stupid.

I thought the documentary was fantastic. I didn't know much about Scientology going in, and feel much more educated now.

I found it interesting how there are basically 2 "tracks" inside the church. You have the regular people who appear to be used to perform the church's "mission", and the celebrity track who are basically spokesman.

The regular folks along with the church leadership was my main takeway. These people are treated as underclass and it's shocking.

I think most people with limited understanding of Scientology (myself included) would benefit from seeing this video. It gives a clearer picture of the true victims (regular people) and not just celebrities getting scammed (cuz who gives a shite).

How was this? Saw the trailer for it a while back and it looked fantastic.

If you have followed Scientology you will probably know most of it except for how violent Miscagive is. He literally kicks the shite out of people. The other thing is I didn't know just how devout the members actually are. Its a good watch.

The saddest part of it all is that they make people actually improve their lives by admitting/processing their fears and secrets and turn around and use that to imprison them.

What I reaffirmed to myself was that auditing was essentially going to a therapist with the only difference being some bullshite "science" thrown in to convince people it was more "real". Going "clear" is basically working through any personal issues except the church extorts way more money from you than conventional therapy and they keep records that are not privileged about it all.

It really is very sad and I pray that Miscavige gets all the karma he deserves.

If I wanted to leave the church I'd probably move to TX so I could shoot any of those people who harassed me on my property.

I cannot wait to see the fallout this causes.

Wish Robert Durst would convert to Scientology and we get a whole new documentary

If true, I believe you I have just never seen it, then I have no idea why they didn't bring it up. That would have been a huge part of the story. Maybe they left it out because if she is fine he could just have her come out in public and by proving she is fine they would say everything else was also a lie.

I think a Durst/Miscavige Odd Couple sitcom is Emmy worthy material

I think they left it out because they couldn't get hard facts about it. I know the actress from King of Queens tried to find out about her through the cops, but the police just said she was fine.

There are 3 tracks. The regular member, the celebrity, and the Sea Org. The Sea Org is like their nuns/monks, except that they are pretty much slave labor to abuse.

The dianetics part is just like therapy without patient confidentiality. They talk about past issues and fears and get over them, but instead of a therapist it's the church recording them and using them against you.

Miscavige needs to be offed.

His wife is either dead or being falsely imprisoned. What's crazy is that the LAPD won't even look into it.

Miscavage really built it into what it is today. He's a militant motherfricker, and sharp too. What's crazy is in almost 100% certaib he's a complete psychopath and doesn't believe any of this shite.

The BBC investigation was eye opening. This guy is enjoying the life of a billionaire sultan, he's not risking it for shite. If you speak out, if you question him, if you say something bad about him (him or Scientology), he takes it to Def Con 1

He is not fricking around. He is a gangster plain and simple
