I got around to watching it last night. It's really eye opening stuff and someone needs to shut this down. Maybe NASA should send Seal Team 6 to space to free Xenu to help us.

I was obsessed with reading all that for awhile. I stopped watching Going Clear because they were basically covering all the stuff that Operation Clambake covered.

From what I understand members are monitored 24/7. Even your audits are recorded. Someone going into COS undercover would be extremely hard to do.

Watched this doc last night. It's pretty fantastic.
Like most, I already knew a good bit about SCientology from hearing/reading about it, but this doc opened my eyes to a lot of the behind-the-scenes goings-on of the whole thing. I kept shaking my head at how grown adults could continue falling for such obvious bullshite, and pour their life savings into it, while shady arse motherfrickers like David Misavige laugh all the way to the bank. And it was cool seeing all of the interviewees reflect on their time in there and not being able to comprehend how they could fall for something so, for lack of a better word, silly.
Just a really enthralling and interesting doc from start to finish.

What's really amazing is that even after they left the church, most of the people interviewed for the Doc still considered themselves independent scientologist.
I couple of them have dropped being religious at all after a period of being independent
