Amen. Drives me nuts.

It's the "and" that throws them off. They would never say "Call I later".

New Orleans folks like to put a "the" in front of major roadways.

"The" Airline (highway)
"The" I-10

ETA: not mispronounciation but still drives me nuts.

Use them the same way you use "they" and "them".

"Call them later"
"Call me later"

"They suck at grammar"
"I suck at grammar"

Are you saying I misused "they" or "them"? If so, you would be mistaken.

It's pretty funny with my two year old. Not so funny when people are grown.

This one. I've got a relative that pronounces the L is salmon. And she mentions salmon way more than anybody else I know. And she brought smoked salmon to Thanksgiving dinner last year.

I don't have a problem with it but it's more of an issue when people overpronounce something while trying to sound smart.

I hate when the yoga teacher misprounces anatomic terms, like "thoratic" instead if "thoracic." Drives me crazy. I know I need to not let it bother me. You should hear what she does with sacroiliac.

My dad says idear instead of idea, soufmore instead of sophomore, formulur instead of formula, anywheres instead of anywhere, nuke-ya-lur instead of nuclear, rurned instead of ruined, balled instead of boiled. Honestly I don't know how I haven't fricking killed him yet
