This is actually a common issue now, since siphoning is so hard.

Here is a locking plug you put under the gas cap for f-150s, $12.

I just went to the counter and told them I needed a locking gas cap and told them the make and model. In and out in 5 min. (Don't over think it. They might only have one kind there that fits)

Put some sugar in your tank and when those thieves siphon it out it will ruin their engine.

I'm confused. If you're out of the country for school, how did you come to realize that they stole your diesel? Do you make a habit of watching your moms security camera all night?

Get some single blade razor blades and gel super glue.
Glue them on and around the gas cap.
Check for blood residue.
Remove razor blades with pliers.

My mom called me and told me this AM. She said she went out to use my truck this morning and the inside had been gone through and the tank was on empty. I told her how to rewind the security cameras and sure enough about 3AM 2 white trash teenagers went through my truck and siphoned the gas out of it.
