re: Aside from JLaw, who is THE actress in Hollywood currently?

In terms of filmography, it has to be Amy Adams. She has five Oscar nominations in the nine years and she's been in so many well-regarded movies such as The Fighter, The Master, Man of Steel, Her, etc.... But if you factor in everything such as star power, critical acclaim for acting, and box office draw, I probably will have to go with Natalie Portman. I personally think she would be a bigger star than J-Law if she starred in more commercial movies from the big studios. The only big action movie she's done since Star Wars is Thor. Everything else has been serious roles in character driven films which usually don't make a ton of money at the box office.
