Aside from JLaw, who is THE actress in Hollywood currently?

The one who is the household name that every guy has on their minds when thinking of Celebrity Attractiveness - the leading actress. I can't think of anyone who really really stands out as attractive and super talented.
In the early 90's it was Julia Roberts
Early 2000's - Angelina Jolie, ???
In the late 80's - Meg Ryan, ???

ScarJo seems to be one of the "it girls" or whatever at the moment.

I think J Law is meh, but she is the rare chick who gets extra hype because of coolness and a sort of delusion of average Joes that they could see themselves dating her.

Emma Stone
Amy Adams
Emily Blunt
Anna Kendrick to a lesser degree.
ScarJo and Charlize Theron still working a bunch, too.

Mid 2000's has to have been Jessica Alba.

Melissa McCarthy seems to be getting a lot of rolls lately.

She hasn't fallen off a bit. Not sure what you're referring to.

My pick too
Is it that there are just too many sexy women/too much exposure in Hollywood that they don't get the same attention Jennifer Anniston/Angelina Jolie got at one point?

I don't think Kunis is that hot a name right now. She's only done 2 movies in the last couple years and only been in about 7 or 8 that could be considered "big" since 2007. That's if you include Date Night and Friends With Benefits.
Zero individual award nominations aside from People's Choice/Teen Choice/MTV type stuff.
Emma Stone's career has been like a rocket from the get-go... Hard to believe Superbad was her first big screen role in 2007. She got that Oscar nomination under her belt now...
I'm sticking with Emily Blunt.
Adding Eva Green to my list as well... She's managed to be in 300 Rise of Empire, Sin City 2, Casino Royale, Dark Shadows... while doing the Starz series Camelot and going on 2 seasons in Penny Dreadful on Showtime.
ETA:
See... I just read the title and skipped the OP blurb on what qualifies as "it" girl. I was going more in the sense of Hollywood go-to with looks being a component but not everything.
Kunis back in the mix.
