ok, I love the 6.2, I have a Denali. But cmon, I get 11.5 in the city, 16 on a trip
Must be your driving style. I have the Chevy 6.2 and get about 15 city and 20 on highway. Over 8k miles I've averaged about 16.

I have the 5.3 liter SLT Get the center console, don't skimp on interior
Same here. Love the console.
Only real issue I had was the ring gear was not seated within proper spec and the headlights are about as bright as a candle. Gmc now has a replacement bulb if you ask. I opted to install true HID lights. Other than that, the truck has been great. Very quiet and comfortable ride.

2014 5.3 Silverado
Avg 21.8 hwy
Avg 13.8 in town
Fixing to have 20k on it with no issues
It's more comfortable than my 2011 F150 company truck and gets better mileage as well

Best looking truck on the market. The 6.2 all the way it's a monster!!

What you have against the 5.3? Most reliable gas motor on the market IMO.

Nothing at all.
I just really like the 6.2, and for the minimal tradeoff in fuel economy, it makes a ton more power.
