for those keeping score, here's a brief tally of dukke v's likes and dislikes:

likes:
-Former LSU coach Nick Saban
-Former LSU coach John Chavis
-Former LSU coach Bo Pelini
-Former LSU coach Jimbo Fischer
-The idea of BH transferring to another school because he wasn't trusted to be the starter as a true freshman

dislikes:
-Current LSU coaches, players, AD staff, and fans who don't also hate everything associated with the current team
-John Chavis paying the $400K he owes LSU for breaking his contract

Holy shite.did all you dumbasses just forget about Mett's 2012 season?

It was a better year than many give him credit for. Hell, we hadn't seen 2,600 yards from a QB in 5 years.

He did alright in 2012, but there was much more to the explosion in 2013 than changing the offensive style.

The one where he threw for 298, a td, no picks, and was on the money all night against Alabama? I remember it well. But I'm sure Bama's D was overrated, despite the number 1 ranking.

We'll see. It's been in the back of my mind since the Asst. Coach extensions that Miles is on his way out by his own choosing regardless of what happens on the field.

The first thing I said when I saw the clauses. I also believe he thinks that 2016 is his best chance to win it all one last time.

So what? He had 12 tds -7ints with a qb rating only 10 points higher than AJ had last year. Anyone that says Mett was developed when he got here doesnt know football. You do realize other teams torched that bama defense too.

They won the natty. That's all I need to know. And go back and point out wherever I said Mett was developed. You can't because I never did. In fact I actually agreed with you that he was not. All I said was he had skills, and those skills were out in full force that night. He actually improved throughout that year, which no one can say about AJ in 2014. Give me one game, just one. That's enough to make me believe. Mett had one. Jennings has had ZERO.

yeah they totally sucked. Only one other team "torched"them, and they had the heisman winner at qb. They shut down everyone else.

quote:

He developed Randle El, Brees, Rivers, Flacco, and Mettenberge and mentored George Whitfield Jr., the widely recognized "QB Guru" who holds private training for the top NCAA QBs annually.
Yes to El and Flacco, only worked with the others. Mett's improvement had a lot to do with acrobatic one-handed catches by the two best receivers in the league.

In his first year at LSU Cam Cameron's 2013 LSU offense finished the season 34th in the country in Passing Yards at 265.1 per game, 32nd in rushing yards at 200.8, 22nd points for at 37.0, and 32nd in total offense (LSU's best since 2007) at 5591 yards of total offense and a total average of 465.9 yards per game. That same total offense would have only ranked 42nd in 2014 as offenses are improving. Oregon finished 1st with 8205 yds, OSU 3rd 7674, Baylor 4th 7559, TCU 6th 6929, ALA 9th 6783, LSU 75th 5037.

Cameron said he put too much on the QBs last year and did not adjust his offense to the QBs skills, which is the job of every coach at every level. So he is installing an explosive passing offense and "the quarterbacks are both developing without the separation" Miles is looking for.

Big 10 is not SEC: Randle EL is Cam's only collegiate Passer he developed. A less than 50% completion rate and about the same passing stats as AJ. He has not proven himself at the collegiate level yet, and avg 60% wins as an NFL OC, and went 1-15 as an NFL coach.

quote:

Cameron returned to his alma mater to serve as the head coach for the Indiana University Hoosiers in 1997. In five seasons he achieved a record of 18-37. Cameron brought an explosive offense to Indiana with highly effective offensive players such as Antwaan Randle El. Indiana averaged 23.6 points per game under Cameron's guidance. In fact, Randle El became the first player in NCAA Division I history to pass for 40 career touchdowns and score 40 career rushing touchdowns. He finished his college career as fifth on the all-time NCAA total yardage list, and became the first player in college football history to record 2,500 total yards for each of four consecutive years. (Note that is only an average of 10 passing TDs/yr. El had almost identical stats as AJ all four years, just a little lower.

Although Cameron's Indiana teams won less than one-third of their games, Indiana was recognized by the American Football Coaches Association for its exemplary football graduation rates in each of Cameron's final four seasons. Despite Randle El's record setting achievements as a QB, Cameron inexplicably decided to move Randle El to wide receiver in 2001, a decision that likely cost Indiana a winning record and a bowl game. He was fired after the 2001 season.

Antwaan Randle El Indiana Stats

His Passing Att/Cmpl/Yds/Rating are spot on with Jennings: Passing TDs 6, 17, 10, 9 over 4 yrs.
Rushing TDs 10, 13, 13, 8

Cameron also mentored John Harbaugh and Harbaugh fired him immediately after the second of two losses, 3 games before the Ravens went to the Super Bowl: for yelling and screaming at Flacco, not coaching from the sideline, play calling, and he had abandoned the HUNH and 3WR sets for 2TES, neither Flacco or the team were showing improvement, among other things. You can't handle when someone else is right huh punk.

Right about what? Mett didnt have a good year in 2012.
12tds -7ints isnt good. 1 game against bama doesnt change that.
In sec play he was 4tds-5ints
quote:

at was LSU's record in 2012 with Mett as QB??? What was LSU'S record last year with AJ as QB/??

Wins/losses are a TEAM ACCOMPLISHMENT.

He was much more developed than your hero AJ.

Holy shite youre senile. Ive repeatedly said AJ didnt play well and Harris has far more upside. Get a fricking clue boy.

quote:

BTW do you live in da hood??? And are you African-American???

Just curious... You seem to like to cutdown what the white qb's have done at LSU while trying everything you can to make the African-American qbs look better than they were

Wow. So stating facts and stats about qbs is now defending black qbs and shitting in white ones?
Ive said numerous times Mett had the 2nd best qb season in lsu history in 2013. You know that season you shite on any chance you get.

Also, if i were black, id find it pretty fricked up that you think blacks only live in " the hood". Youre a senile dumb frick.

Well yeah anyone can see he had all the physical talent in the world but if you dont play well you dont play well. I give him credit for the bama game but that doesnt erase the rest of the season.
ETA: mett is probably my 3rd favorite lsu qb, ever.

That's a lot of work to say Cameron needs to learn how to coach amateur athletes rather than professionals.

Where is the Raven's offense now, btw?

Nice crawfishing right there.....

But you keep acting like JJ was one of the best QB'S in LSU history which is simply not true....

BTW... More people remember JJ for his SHITTY game against Bamaon 1/9 than anything else he did at LSU... AND if he would not have been a dipshit and get himself in trouble for sucker-kicking a helpless dude, no telling what could have been for him...

Honest question: Do you expect Anthony Jennings to have a good season if he starts? Why? What does he do well? I'd really like to know what you see in his abilities.
