FBD:

Why don't more companies use cans like this? Friend sent it to me it has no metallic taste, it won't shatter in shipment, and it has to be lighter than a bottle.

Those are a gimmick. Why not just use a regular can?

Bmc beers in those cans taste like you're drinking from an aluminum bat

Bigger bottle?
Not sure really just seems more convienant than a glass bottle and a cheaper alternative as well. Not sure all of the logistics of it though

Beautiful day!

Heading back to Louisiana to stay with the in-laws. Not sure about a BD, as I packed none and they really don't drink these days.

However, #1 on the agenda is catching some bream and bass with my youngest girl. She enjoys that stuff, and today should be perfect.

Mission uses 32 oz cans. They can make them in any size.

Shaping them like a bottle is stupid and eliminates one of the best things about cans, their ease of storage/stacking

I like those bottles too. Beer seems to stay colder longer in them...

Having said that, cans are more convenient.

Just got off the tractor after a little bus hogging. Watching the wife work her bee hives while sipping this little beer. Light but nice for morning. Brisket on the egg at the barn. Man it's a fine day.

you obviously have never had a can bust in a package. same thing can happen to those. not to mention those are much more expensive than a regular can.

FBD is a Terminal Mind Meld Brown ipa in Chattanooga. Not too shabby.

1 b d / prepping for the Atlanta Crawfish & Oyster Festival

Nice offering from these guys. Sweet malts, especially sweet on the nose, kept in check by some resiny hops and a 10% ABV.

Pretty good. I prefer fresh squeezed though.
