He hits a wall around 75 it seems. He's Friday night. But not what we are used to. And not the best one we have. He did nothing wrong tonight. Should have been pulled. We use someone to finish the 7th. Person in 8. Stallings 9. Ball game. Nothing wrong with that. This is solely on PM. Period. He fricked up. I

IMO LSU's downfall will be their young arms this year.

LSU is talented yes, but there is not much SEC pitching experience in that weekend rotation.

I'm not saying he did anything wrong. I just don't think he has as much talent as some of our other guys that could go

You are looking at a team with 13 hits and only 3 runs. Being unable to get a timely hit lost this game.

That was true on day one. Doesn't mean he shouldn't be there.

You weren't watching the whole game obviously, this game was lost by the head coach

You're analyzing the wrong angle

This game was so reminiscent of the Ole Miss loss. Mainieri does not pull the pitcher when he should, then he pinch hits with an inexperienced hitter this time in Deichman, and in the Ole Miss game with Robertson. This is all on Mainieri. We need to quit losing the Friday night games also.

I think we win the game tonight if Lange would have pitched (despite all our frick ups) & prolly win the game tomorrow with Poche pitching against their #2, but it's all speculation .

What I had hoped would happen, and actually what Mainieri has done most of this year is Poche through 6, Bugg or Person to pitch the 7th, Strall the 8th, close with Stallings. That's what's been working all year, and that's what he should have done tonight.

Back to back to back base hits was not enough to get him out of the game he needed back to back to back to back to back base hits. This loss is on our coach he clearly hit a wall in the 7th.

If a man cannot throw nine shutout innings every time out then he cannot be the Friday man.
