14,000 is a lot. Really a lot.

I'd be looking for at least a $5K differential after all discounts, etc before I would take that deal on the used model.

It's a lot for a GM. But nothing for a Toyota. Get the Highlander.

You should have known this would turn into:

"You should get what I like instead"

Just an example. I'm able to find them under 35k with a little effort. At the very least, it's a bartering tool for local dealers.

what price do i try and get the Enclave down. I feel the fact that the used car is the same list price as a brand new (although my work deal gets it >$4000 off msrp) gives me some more room to work down the

Remind them that it's a fricking BUICK!!!!!!

I wonder why the only way to get leather and second row captain seats when on the toyota website is to select the limited package

that dealship is doing some shady shite, you aint getting leather at that price and those pictures dont match a LE (SE) the description even says its cloth and a 8 seater

I dunno. I just checked out their brochure and it's optional on the XLE package and standard on the Limited. Maybe they have the package misrepresented there.

ETA:

Well, leave it up to a dealer to pull some shite like that. I stand corrected, you'll be paying 39k.

It's a lot for any 2015 vehicle, in terms of worth.

Drive the Highlander. Drive the Enclave.

There is a significant difference in NVH and overall feel, IMO.

Yeah, that's the biggest kicker. If he's anything like me he'll drive it well past the warranty, so resale doesn't matter as much.

The thing about recommending vehicles is that you have to be unbiased, knowledgable and aware of trends.

Most people don't keep a vehicle past a 100K.

His wife, based on what I've seen, will much prefer the Enclave, in terms of driving dynamics and overall feel.
