#LSU announces adjusted time for Hilliard. 4.6. Terrence Magee clocks a 4.56.

Not bad at all. A lot of NFL backs do quite well with 4.6 speed and even slightly over.

Also should note that Tahj Jones is there participating. Good to see him out there. Ran a 4.57 too.

Agree, most do better at pro day. They are more relaxed, less pressure, familiar surroundings, people, etc.

And the fact that it's hand times at the pro day and laser times at the combine...

4.6 will get him places. Not quite sure what his value looks like, but it was looking pretty cloudy at 4.83.

That's also why it was a mistake for Hilliard to run at the combine. Laser time is more accurate and he ran a 4.83 on laser time. A few weeks later, he runs a 4.60 hand timed. Some people will question that hand time. But still, shows improvement.

Damn good to hear!! What is his weight now? If that guy makes it onto a squad it would be a miracle. What a great accomplishment just to be there and running in the 4.5s!

Let me start by saying I understand your point. The fact is, however, that a guy who has a late round to UDFA grade at running back has to fully participate at the combine or risk falling to UDFA status.

No you don't.

Magee didn't run the 40 at the combine, ran a 4.56 today and has improved his stock because of it.

And if you are a late round / UDFA prospect grade, a bad showing at the combine will lower your stock as well. You don't want a bad showing, wherever you are projected to go. Don't risk it, run at the Pro Day.

Now you have 2 times on Hilliard and the more accurate time, laser time, is a bad time for a RB. Scouts will question his speed because of the laser time.

The scout in the studio and McElroy both are speaking really well about Magee. McElroy said that hes been the most popular player among the scouts and there's been a buzz about him.

Magee's game is more pro-ready. Good hands, gets open quick out of the backfield, and maybe the most important attribute for pro-RB's now, he can pass block.

Not watching on TV, Sorry if I am repeating Greg McElroy.

No worries

But yea McElroy said Magee is very solid across the board at RB and can do it all. And will be an impact on special teams day 1. Best pass blocker in the draft.

McElroy just said Rohan can still throw it 80 yards according to some people there at the combine

And McElroy does a really good job. Isn't biased, very smart, and knows what he's talkig about.
