They may only be 2 games but you can easily get 50+ hours from Bloodborne and 500+ from Persona

ok, I put 180 hours into Persona 4, so Persona 5 should be ~220 Hours, but I put 400+ hours into Dark Souls, so I'm gonna go with 500+ on Bloodborne

I think that justifies itself
I bought my PS4 for exclusives and what not but it actually became my primary platform. The baby has a lot to do with that though.

This would only happen if Sony was confident they had approached the maximum number of sales they were going to get out of Bloodborne on PS4 and they are probably at least a couple of years off from even coming close to that.
This feels like April Fools day joke fodder.
ETA: Having said that, is anyone else Surprised Bloodborne's release and Dark Souls 2 "next gen" release are so close to one another? Maybe From Software is hoping to ride the wave of Bloodborne's publicity to help sales of DS2 on XBO? "You can't play Bloodborne, but come check out the game that came before it."

There's PVP and it can be very competitive. You have people dumping hundreds of hours into New Game+ and New Game++. The game scales with your leveling and with more insight, encounters can change and become more difficult.

Two different publishers. I'm not too sure how much work was done by the same people. If anything, it's Namco Bandai trying to ride the Bloodborne hype wave with another similar game.
