#Pelicans' Ryan Anderson said he's getting custom-made brace today for sprained right knee. It provides more stability than sleeve he has.

#Pelicans' Anderson: Lateral movement (sprained MCL) has improved. 'I feel about 80 percent. Haven't been able to do explosive exercises.'

#Pelicans PF Ryan Anderson said he hopes to play in a week but is not sure if that will be possible. 'We're doing more and more each day.'

If we somehow make the playoffs we could actually be pretty healthy at that time

And jrue was shooting around so at least there's progress there!

Good. Need him to raise his trade value.

I have a feeling how the team is doing will determine whether he sees the court again this season. I don't think they push him if they lose two games before next week.

Will come back rusty and hurt us for a few games. We'll probably already be behind in the race by then tho

Truth. Is there anyone that's actually happy Anderson is coming back? I'd rather EG as our designated three-point shooter

It really depends on his role. If he's getting the same minutes he got before then no, but if he's more judiciously used he can help.

My exact thought. Pels have been way more athletic with Anderson out. He'll be good coming off the bench as a three point specialist but the days of him playing starter minutes should be long gone

I think we need more than one "designated three point shooter".

More shooters can't hurt, but Monty needs to make Anderson earn every minute he plays.

Q-pon has been a legit three point threat, I just find it amusing that people act like Ryno wasn't a good contributor in home games this season. He wasn't a complete disaster.

LINK

The link shows that ever since he joined New Orleans his rebounding percentage went down. He only gets 12.4% of rebounds when he is on the court. The past two years it's only 10.5%

I am not bashing Anderson anymore since he is hurt, however that seems very low for a Front Court player
