Question about LaCrosse Boots

I recently purchased these online: Alpha Mudlite Snake Boots
They fit great, they look great, they feel great, until I go to take them off my feet. Thank god my brother was there bc he had to pull them off, and we both struggled to do so. I tried them again at home with some thinner socks, but it was the same ordeal. I thought I was going to cause a freaking aneurysm getting them off by myself. It was completely unreasonable and I refuse to ever put those things on my feet again. So my questions:
1. if I go a size up, will it help any with getting them on and off?
2. if I go a size up, will my foot move around too much?
3. should i be looking for a different model?

Try putting your foot in a plastic walmart bag and see how that works.

Paw paw made me one of these years ago. It's my best friend taking them frickers off.

seriously?
ETA: I'm not going to do that every time I use them, so don't see how this would help

This is honestly my biggest complaint about all Lacrosse boots. You certainly never have to worry about them coming off when you're tromping through thick mud!

Get a boot puller or find something similar to a boot puller around the house. My Grange boots are hard to get off, but that helps when I'm walking through sticky stuff

Go a side up and wear dickies work socks.

Keep a boot jack like this handy and you'll never have that problem again.

But that lacrosse tight fitting ankle though...

Get a boot jack. Lacrosse boots are great because the ankles are so tight.

i'm pretty certain it would still be ridiculously complicated even with a boot jack. I'm thinking upsize and boot jack and maybe i'll stick with this model.

Yep... A boot jack is the best way to get ankle chokers off... It's a camp necessity..

Not really. Did you not try these on before you bought them? Sizing up MIGHT help, but they are supposed to be tight. You got cankles, baw?

no man i got some chicken legs. these boots have very little flex because they are snake boots. I'm telling y'all the effort it requires to remove these particular boots is way beyond reasonable. I've had LaCrosse's before that were tough to get off, but these are on a whole different level.
ETA:
BassPro only sells these online. When I went to the store to try them on, the lady said they have people come in every day to try them on and it makes no sense why they don't carry them in stores. I think it's because they realize there is a problem with this model.

That's tough luck. I'd probably just find a different model if it's that much of a problem. Lots of snake boots out there.
