I don't think Payton feel like they have holes on the offensive line.

In a possibly related question, Payton was asked what his team’s biggest needs are. He listed cornerback, interior offensive line and “potentially” a pass rusher as three areas of concern.

DGB gets a lot of love here, but I just could easily see him busting. besides the fact, most of his highlights are him just beating people with pure speed and not showing elite agility, change of direction, not really high pointing the ball or running with the power the way a 6'6" receiver should, and questions with work ethic, He has off the field issues. If he slid to our second rd pick he may be worth it, but he is RAW! and without putting in the work to improve his skills or even being able to stay on the field with his personal issues, he will not go far in the NFL. If DGB was a decent character guy and worked hard he would be a top pick based on his natural skills alone.

I'd be absolutely shocked if A) Gurley went anywhere near 6 B) Hundley went top-17 and C) I don't think Kendricks falls to 44. He's the best/most complete ILB in the draft. That holds value and some team will probably take him in the first.

Overall I'd be pretty upset if our first two picks were Ray and DGB.

Agreed. If by some odd chance he doesn't go 1st round...you can bet that some team will be trading up to get him on the 2nd day of the draft.

Me as well. Both of those guys have a decent chance of busting imo. Not the way to go in the 1st round. We're not trying to be the Browns.

That's just one guys opinion. He's going late 1st or 2nd round. Good size and speed for a cornerback & good man to man cover guy. The earliest we'll take a cornerback is the 3rd round...so we have no shot at him.

True, but do you actually think we're going cornerback with one of our top 3 picks? I guess it's possible, but it doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

That's tough. It isn't one of our top needs (I'd put OG, ILB, OLB, and WR before CB), but this team has surprised me many of times when it comes to the draft. And getting a quality, young corner wouldn't hurt. We have two quality starters, with a bunch of questions marks behind them. If one of them goes down, we're back to last season starting Brian Dixon. As it is, our 3rd CB is going to see a lot of snaps, but who knows what we have there.

That's why ya do a Big Board. There's a thread here for 1-13 for the Saints. Not overall, not mock. When #13 comes you clearly know who ya choose one over another. The only difference is the Saints actual board is 1-300.

Scanning that Waynes is at 7, 12, 11, 6, 7, 10, 8, 7, 9, 10, 7, 11, 11, 6, 6
He is headed toward the #7 or 8 spot on our board.
