I could deal with this the way it falls in their draft.

Would be an awesome day if that draft pans out.

I think these first two rounds would be really good for us. I love the idea of going DGB at 31. He has massive talent. I guess it's a slight gamble given his personal history, but I don't think he is beyond repair because another Power 5 team took a chance on him. I'm not in love with Ray, but I love the UCLA ILB with the second.

this is why mock drafts are so ridiculous. everyone is trying to predict the shock factor, and none of them really know all the teams. Gurly in the top 10? come on now.

There is no way in hell we are taking Beckham-Green given the exodus of questionable character players that has just happened. If Loomis were to do this, then everything they have done will be sullied, especially since his character problems far outweigh Graham, Stills and Galette combined.

there is still room to appreciate a mock draft that brings some uniqueness to the table. Like you said, no draft goes the way of the most logical picks. Teams fall in love with players and "reach" for them, reach is only a comparative term to wherever we have our heads shoved up cause when the pick is made, its not a reach cause that's where he was drafted!

I'm not a huge fan of Ray at 13, but I wouldn't complain if those were are our first 3 picks.

I get what you are saying and agree. It's just annoying to read these mockers throwing their own shock factor into it, because it screams "look at me!" in a vain attempt to get their names talked about.

basically I was just venting my frustrations

I don't know many precise details about DGB but if we just shipped out stills due to off field character or commitment or however you'd like to word it, hard to turn around and spend a 1st round pick on a guy with this background without at least the appearance of hypocrisy.

No way we pass on Collins if he's there.

I think Ray is the one guy I'd be pretty let down if we took at 13. Don't like that guy at all.

DGB and Kendricks with the next two picks would be fapworthy

I'd love to see Devante Parker in black and gold next season. Hard to see us going WR @ 13.. or 31st, for that matter.

If the draft falls like that and they get Ray at #13, they are winning if they get DGB and then Kendricks later in the second. That's a nice roster bolstering front end of the draft IMO.

I wonder if the Saints feel they can find a Jahri Evans/Carl Nicks/Terron Armstead nobody ever heard of him because he want to Betty Crocker University of Southern Canadian Peninsula Poly Tech.

The holes on the interior offensive line remain with this mock.

I don't think Payton feel like they have holes on the offensive line.

This mock sucks balls!
First of all I do not want Ray, second there's no way in hell some of these players fall as far as they have them falling, third Gurley at 6!!??? REALLY!?

I'm totally with that. I wouldn't be in love with the Ray pick but I feel like down the road he could be something. All the off the field bullshite aside, DBG at 31 is great value and Kendricks is a hoss.

True though. After reading the mock, I thought that we'd be more in a position to grab a guard in the 1st rd, but judging by the Saints' history I'm retracting that thought.

We'll just go with a random guard out of Blue Cliff College or our scouts might stroll down Airline and walk Delgado's campus until they find one.
