5'6" and 190? Holy cow. I need to gain some weight. :/

190 is the heaviest I've gotten to
Can't get to 200

Don't feel bad I usually stay between 155 and 160 at 5'8".

Why do you want to get to 200 at your height? What weight do you do bodybuilding shows at?
Posted on 3/26/15 at 12:30 pm to mouton
I'm usually 153-155 on stage.
I was 148 in my first show (1st and 3rd in sig pic)
I was 150 in my third show (middle in sig pic)

I'm about 5'11" and I'm in the 160's. I look good, and I'm wicked strong. I just have trouble gaining and maintaining weight. It feels weird to say that because I was chunky at 208 when I was out of shape.
I want to do heavier lifting.

how is your training going?
Great so far. Doing my first week of the second cycle of Wendlers 5.3.1 program.
Definitely feeling stronger and knocking out PRs (the bar is low at this point).
My strongest lift is the squat but I'm making progress across the board. Can't wait to see the results after 6 months.

I haven't done seriously heavy since a meet in 2011.
I'm almost 32, getting too old to lift heavy.

I don't use pullup bands. Oh, yeah, but that's only when I'm doing eccentric v pullups and after I've already done almost 100 pullups. ETA: Well over 100, actually
I may not look it, but I can hang.

I still lift heavy, but I don't push it like I did when I was around 27, doing 3 powerlifting meets a year.
I'm talking about heavy as in, no squat over 400 unless it's in a meet, no deadlift over 450 unless it's in a meet, and no bench over 315 unless it's in a meet
