I remember when it was bayou fitness. I think old man gvoich had a place near there several years ago. I once worked for him much nicer on tv than in person.
I remember a guy in the early 2000's his first name was Adrian a solid 181/198 masters lifter had a squat/dl at least in the 600's.
I've even met wade hooper once in that facility.
Paul fletcher/Duane urbina/Casey sanders/Garry frank did an awesome job of promoting and coaching high school kids in the sport of powerlifting for many years

Wade is banged up these days. Too much grinding on those hips with his massive 850lb squats (insane for 165lbs) has forced him to retire and require hip replacement surgery.
He was one of the judges at the 2014 USAPL Louisiana State Championships. He redlit me on my 2nd squat because I was parallel on my right side. Me protecting my ACL repaired knee. I hit my 3rd lift with all 3 judges giving me white (good lift) lights.

..because it's common knowledge that no one has ever hurt themselves lifting heavy weights. Crossfit injures everyone who does it.
This guy was obviously doing crossfit.

Yeah I think he's been squatting 600 plus for 15-20 years now.
I know he was squatting 550 plus in college as a 148er.
Was he lifting in apf or usapl when he squatted that. Regardless that is just insane.

Most of my training talk on here is giving others advice and encouraging others. I only talk about my training when asked. I only posted pictures when asked.

Oh they are. Come see some of the retards lifting at my gym. The half squatters, the rocking bicep curlers, the bouncing off your chest bench pressers.... It's everywhere.... You just see it more in CF because it's on TV and people are always posting video of it.
