How bad would the smell be to have hunting dogs in a wrangler?

Anybody carried hunting dogs in a wrangler? I could easily build a box to go in the back, but I'm just wondering if it would smell like hound permanently.

I carry my lab in my sequoia in a crate/kennel and had no problems with smell at all

I used to tote my beagles in the back of dads Isuzu trooper. And some Walker hounds on occasion. Then one day on a rabbit hunting trip Jack crawled up from the very back a got under my feet. Whilst attemting to get him out from under the clutch I accidentally swerved right and took out Mrs. Rosie Jagger's brick mailbox. A thunderous collision that sprayed shrapnel hundreds of yards and flipped the top half of the mailbox unto the hood, rolled it up over the windshield and bounced it down the length of the roof. Causing extensive damaged to dads rig and subsequently my arse. It also meant I couldn't drive again till i was 14. l don't remember a particularly bad smell, but there is no way Jack and the gang caused the Trooper to smell very pleasant.

Meh.... That's what carpet shampoo, a vacuum, and fabreez are for. That's also why I have a truck though. It's the hair, and slobbering that leaves the smell in a vehicle. It's a jeep though, so just rip out all the carpet, and rhino line the interior.

BS, BS, BS!!! At the time, you were on a date going down Hwy 80 between Start and the Lafourche swamp, with Mrs. Rosie Palm and hit a water oak tree..

Get rid of the carpet and bedline the tub. Buy you some neoprene seat covers. Carry your dogs with no worries.

If there's no carpet back there you should be fine. It won't be permanent stink, but it's gonna stink while they're in there.
I'm just imagining riding home with my coon dogs in the same space as me after a hunt

Hmm rhinolining it huh? A good idea.
I almost died of sticker shock looking at trucks the other day. Looking for alternatives that will also haul dogs.

I would assume you would smell pretty bad if you put your dog in your jeans....
