Any update on their reopening? I thought they shut down the Towne Center location to focus on a more campus oriented location.

Doesn't Baton Rouge already have enough sterile, generic places serving shitty hamburgers?

Their fries were terrible. Can't go to a burger joint with subpar fries.

Yeah and don't they claim on the menu that they only cook to one temperature? One of the worst burgers I've ever had. And that one that was in BR on Corporate was one depressing fricking restaurant. No life at all.

I agree, I thought it was a miserable place. Felt like a hotel restaurant. Everyone raved about the sandwiches but both I've had were pedestrian at best. Never had the burger, but I can deduce what level its on by the whole of my experience. Though I've only been on e, I think the Walkons was a vast improvement of the space, and when walkons improves your sports bar, well, I'll stop

If Mugshots put the money into that spot like Walk On's did it would still be open. However, they chose the cheap rent from Chammps made not adjustments or upgrades, so you were stuck with Chammps 2.0.

This is a perfect description of that shite hole. Zero atmosphere, the service was horrible, and for a place that prided itself on burgers, the burgers may've been the worst thing about it. How can you call yourself a burger place, and only serve burgers to well done?

nothing screams shitty like some crappy cover band playing while you eat bad food

Apparently they shut down because they didnt pay their rent. Hard to pay rent when no one is in the restaurant and 4 people at the bar drinking
