Whiplash is a better movie than Birdman

I liked Birdman -- love Ed Norton -- but Whiplash was fantastic. Still haven't seen the other Best Picture nominees but it'll be hard for any of the others to top how much I liked Whiplash.

Completely agree with you. Whiplash was the best movie of the year IMO.

I'm not really qualified to say since I've only seen these two from the nominees but Whiplash is one of those rare movies that I wanted to watch again right after it was done.

Thought whiplash was fantastic. Watching Bman tomorrow. Won't be surprised if whiplash stays number 1. Simmons and Teller were incredible

LOL. Seriously, I'm cool if people like Whiplash more than Birdman, but I don't. I loved Birdman. The acting and dialogue was superb. The cinematography was awesome. They're both great movies, though.
