Are NBA Injuries at an All Time High?

Or does it just seem that way? The Pelicans and Thunder are the worst, but every team has players in and out with nagging injuries.

I don't remember it being this bad. Do You?

Players these days are just soft. I started watching the NBA in the late 80s and I've never seen this many injuries or players needing rest like I've seen these days.

Yeah, the softness of players today is what is causing their tendons to tear and bones to break and joints to swell.

It's because they are "soft".

If they were just tougher, they can use their mind to strengthen their body parts to prevent injury.

Some of the theories they posit for the TL;DL crowd:

Guys play more high leverage minutes at a younger age (from youth levels through playoffs), we know more about injuries/fatigue/rest, the style of play (less ISO offense, more scrambling defense) is more taxing now.
