surface pro 3

I've got an ipad air 2 and a SP3, SP3 blows my ipad out of the water. I use the SP3 95% of the time.

IMHO as far a tablet goes.....iPad is the way to go.

Now if you want a laptop replacement.......SP3 no doubt.

Gonna second this suggestion, or the Nexus 9 if you want a bigger screen I guess, but the Nexus 7 pretty much wins the value award. If by entertainment you mean streaming video, internet browsing, and the typical tablet/phone games, I can't imagine you'd get enough out of the SP3 to justify the price, or need anything from the iPad that the Nexus can't do.

Yeah, I got a Nexus 7 (2013) off of craigslist recently for $80, and I couldn't be happier.

All we use it for is streaming movies/TV, music, and web browsing. Can't beat it.

I use my SP3 as a tablet more than I use it as a laptop. being able to have the google play store on my SP3 keeps me from having to use another tablet.

of course I use my SP3 in place of my regular laptop for work and classes all the time as well.

I am partial to my Sony Xperia Tablet Z. Videos look amazing on it. It has most of the same tech built into it that the Bravia TV's do. The Walkman music app is the best sounding music app I have ever heard on any Android. Sony's music service allows downloads at near FlAC quality and has Spotify built into it. It is dust and water proof, also.

I got a free Galaxy Tab 4 from Att when I upgraded. Not bad, I am enjoying it. I had an old iPad that was slow as hell.
