Several mocks have the Saints taking this guy at #13.

All 32 NFL teams had representatives at Missouri’s pro day on Thursday. The crowd included Pittsburgh head coach Mike Tomlin and GM John Dorsey from Kansas City which is just down the road. Most were there to see Missouri OLB Shane Ray who led the SEC with 14.5 sacks last fall, but was unable to participate in on-field drills at the combine because of a toe injury. Unfortunately, Ray did not have a particularly good day; he timed in the 4.65-4.70 range, which isn’t bad, but is slow compared to the times posted by other potential top 10 OLBs including Clemson’s Vic Beasley and Nebraska’s Randy Gregory. Ray also wasn’t at all quick in the agility drills where his times were among the slowest of all the Missouri players that worked out. Hard to know whether this will hurt Ray’s grade as most scouts figure that he plays fast enough, but it isn’t going to help either.

Never wanted this guy to begin with.

Shocker
He's not going to be very good, but I really hope someone reaches on him in the top 10. He's probably the only pick that I would truly be mad over. He screams bust to me

Knew he wouldn't be a combine warrior. The guy is a good football player. Will be a solid pro...I think he's a back end of the first round kind of talent.

Golden ran a 4.7. Maybe in the 3rd.

comments on Ray from those who have seen most of his games at Mizzou?
From what I've read he's an extreme gamer with a non-stop motor. Not a guy to sparkle in shorts but more of football player.
Here's a contrasting report-
2015 Pro Days: Shane Ray, Markus Golden perform well at Missouri
Unable to participate at the Combine due to a lingering foot injury, the SEC's leading sack-artist Shane Ray was forced to wait until Thursday for an opportunity to work out for scouts.
Measuring in at a shade under 6-foot-3, 249 pounds, Ray was clocked between 4.55-4.63 seconds in the 40-yard dash and posted a 33-inch vertical jump and 10-foot broad jump. While those numbers aren't extraordinary, Ray looked "explosive" during pass rush drills, according to a high-ranking scout who attended the workout.
Ray said he had put on 15 pounds since the start of his training and was happy with his workout.
“I put on this weight and I was still able to be explosive, athletic, still be me,” Ray said. “I don't feel like I really lost a step. I just feel like I'm at a better playing weight as far as showing that I can play in the 4-3 or the 3-4."
There had been talk that Ray would challenge the incredible workout that fellow star pass rusher Vic Beasley enjoyed at the Combine. The 6-3, 246 pound Beasley enjoyed one of the great workouts in recent Combine history, leading all pass rushers in the 40-yard dash (4.53 seconds), bench press (35 reps) and vertical jump (41 inches).
Ray fell short of Beasley's numbers Thursday but his production on the field speaks loudest.
The projected top 12 pick led the SEC with 14½ sacks in his first season as a starter after coming off the bench in support of eventual second round pick Kony Ealy and the SEC's Co-Defensive MVP Michael Sam. Ray demonstrated his versatility on Thursday by participating in defensive line and linebacker drills.
The scout added that Ray "looked good" in linebacker drills, showing "enough flexibility and burst to play in space." But his times in the 3-cone drill and shuttles were disappointing, leading some in attendance to wonder if the poor times were related to his foot injury.
With several teams who utilize a 3-4 defense selecting in the top-15 picks, opinions around the league are split on whether or not Ray fits a stand-up linebacker role in the NFL.

Why is it of late all the LB'ers are either 260 lb DE types or 235 LSU types
Got to be a Fuji out there some where. Good size with long arms who can cover and still play the run with a occasional blitz?

4.60 range at 250 isnt what i read. Not sure how that is disappointing .

Never cared for him the begin with. No matter how the top 12 pans out, there should still be a few better options than him at 13.

Good, I never really wanted him at 13 anyway.
This is also Paul Dawson, but he gets shitted on for some reason.

Depends on the scheme they play in & what is asked of them in that scheme. This is why you see so many variations in weights. Plus some of these guys are 4-3 DE's in college who being projected as 3-4 OLB's in the pros. The 4-3 college DE'S are going to weigh more so they don't get blown away while setting the edge against the run. Outside of Alabama, I don't know of many programs who have huge 3-4 outside backers. The spread has also placed an emphasis on LB's who are faster & can cover in space.

Theyre acting like he ran 4.9 4.65-4.7 is good for someone his size.

You're right, 4.65 is not that bad. Wasn't just the 40 time though.

Those who are knocking him are knocking him on the point that he's not agile enough to be an OLB.

I would trade pick 31 and one of our 3rd founders to get Ray if we get lucky and get Collins or Scherff with pick 13. Two starters in round one....... yes please

I've been saying this the entire time, but if we take this guy i'd be extremely disappointing. One dimensional pass rusher without the size speed or strength to play DE. Doesnt have the horizontal quickness to stop the run at OLB either and I'd be pretty worried to see what he'd look like against the pass. I honestly think he falls pretty late in the first round if people actually watch his film.
